Originally started as a hobby, the free blog has now turned into a professional visualization and analytics platform, with endless opportunities for growth and expansion. After ample validation and great early traction with customers, we are now looking to expand our team with a: Junior Developer.
Being part of a small team, you will have real impact on the success of the company. You’ll be working with and mentored by the founder and CEO, to further expand our Analytics portal. You are responsible for development of new analytic views and insights, solving some complex puzzles. Using a mix of data science, to-be-acquired petroleum economics skills (read articles ? ), maths/algorithmic work, and python code. On top of that, some Tableau BI to visualize your results.
We are a startup, building out our small but highly talented team. Other team members are our backend developer (ETL part), COO/Sales, and 2 interns (graphic design, social media). In addition to this role we are hiring a platform developer (Ruby on Rails) and Marketing specialist.
We are looking for a smart, talented young individual, fresh grad or up to 2 years’ experience, with passion for coding and solving puzzles, and strong mathematical skills.

The founder and investors have decades of experience in developing advanced information systems, with a thorough understanding of the oil & gas industry. We are based in Rotterdam, at CIC in the Groothandelsgebouw, an inspiring work environment with dozens of other startups, right next to Rotterdam Central Station.
